Washing Machine Repair

A washer full of soaked laundry that will not drain is a today problem. Tell us the symptom on the phone and we can usually name the likely part before we arrive.

Common Washer Calls

  • Drum will not spin or agitate, motor hums then quits
  • Water left standing after the cycle ends
  • Leaks from the door boot, hoses or pump housing
  • Machine walks across the floor or shakes the wall on spin
  • Stops mid cycle, lid lock or door latch errors
  • Burning rubber smell from a worn belt

Top Load, Front Load, Stacked Units

Drain pumps, door latches, drive belts and control boards fail far more often than drums or motors. Most washer repairs are one part and one visit. We work on standard top loaders, front loaders and the stacked units common in Portland condos and ADUs.

Front load door boots and bearings are their own craft. Our technicians replace them properly so you do not trade a leak for a scream on the spin cycle.
